For the last seven years, Nabila worked in France as a research engineer for IMS Laboratory (Intégration du Matériau au Système).
Her role as coordinator of three major international projects in industrial systems interoperability involved collaboration with over 50 European partners in a variety of sectors of endeavour: industry, information technology, consulting services and research centre operations.
In this capacity, she assessed performance improvement needs and business processes, analysed the latter with a view to identifying issues in need of improvement, proposed solutions and implemented action accordingly. Dynamic and results-oriented, Nabila consistently achieves her objectives regardless of the complexity of the mandates with which she is commissioned.
Through her work to date, Nabila has acquired extensive expertise in organizational modelling and collaboration, as well as the implementation of interoperable systems. She indeed focused on these very sectors in her Master’s thesis in industrial systems and in her doctorate in computer-integrated manufacturing.
Ever keen to launch into the development of new projects and initiate improvement proposals, Nabila has, throughout her career as an industrial engineer, demonstrated her sense of organization and drive which together enable her to lead several projects at a time.
A skilled communicator ever eager to share her knowledge and savoir faire with clients and colleagues, Nabila was encouraged to put her talents to work as a project and production management facilitator at Université de Bordeaux 1.
Generous by nature, Nabila regularly volunteers, providing support for seniors in need and helping underprivileged or sick children.
Nabila is currently a member of the Cultivore Committee, a non-profit organization seeking to develop a cultural mediation approach for Montréal’s Rosemont district.
